Sizzle: Recipes & Meal Planner ยท Effective October 9, 2026
Sizzle is published by Harrison Brent. This policy explains what the app stores and shares.
What stays on your phone
Your food preferences, allergies, likes, weekly plan, grocery list, folders, calorie target and blocked list are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
What is shared when you choose to
- Ratings and reviews. If you post one, your star rating, text, "I made this" flag and the display name you typed are stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database and are visible to everyone using the app.
- Recipe likes. When you like or add a recipe, an anonymous record of that recipe is stored so the app can show what is popular.
- Friends. If you turn on sharing, your display name and a friend code are stored, and your likes and reviews are labelled with that code so people you give the code to can see them. Turning sharing off removes your profile.
- Reports. If you report a review or a person, the report is stored so we can act on it.
These records are linked by Apple to an anonymous iCloud identifier. We do not receive your name, email address or Apple ID.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- No analytics services or third-party trackers.
- We do not sell or rent data.
Notifications
Daily recipe ideas are scheduled on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone. To remove reviews or shared activity, turn off sharing in the Friends tab and email harrisonbrentpro@gmail.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
